Blaine is a veteran commercial real estate practitioner, having been associated with CBRichard Ellis, Lincoln Property Company, CLW Real Estate Group and CNL prior to starting Remora Partners in 2003. He has been licensed as a real estate broker in Florida since 1979, and earned his CCIM designation in 1987. Blaine’s experience ranges from broker to sales manager to developer to syndicator. Blaine is an undergraduate and graduate degree holder in real estate from the University of Florida, and is a founding member of the Advisory Board to UF’s Center for Real Estate Studies. He is a frequent instructor in graduate level real estate courses at several universities, and has been a member of the CCIM instructional faculty since 2007, earning the Rising Star Award in 2008 as the most highly rated new instructor. Blaine lives in southwest Orlando with his wife of 29 years, Eileen, and their two children. |
Jim possesses a unique mix of real estate, banking, and community development expertise. His prior experience with Raymond James and CNL in their capital markets divisions has been instrumental at Remora Partners, where he has been the lead officer in more than $200-million of capital formation since 2005. Jim has undergraduate and graduate degrees (MBA) from the University of Florida, and is now chairman of a key advisory group to the University of Central Florida. Jim has been extensively involved with the East Orlando Chamber of Commerce, serving as Chair of the Chamber in 2006, and was co-author of the Chamber’s East Orlando Visioning Study published in 2003, which led to the creation of the Innovation Way concept. For his extensive service to the community, Jim was named the Orlando Business Journal’s Outstanding Male in its 2008 Forty Under 40 competition, and he currently serves on the Boards of the Metro Orlando American Heart Association and the Citrus Club. Jim lives in east Orlando with his wife, Jennifer, and their two young children. |
